Rules

This is a cemetery for ideas nobody is going to build. You pay once, your idea gets a plot, and it stays there. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to cancel.

Burial is permanent

Graves cannot be edited or deleted. Not by you, not by us, not if you change your mind next week. That is not laziness — permanence is the entire thing you are paying for. A tweet can be quietly removed. A headstone cannot.

Read what you typed before you pay. Do not put anything on a headstone that you would be unhappy to still find there in five years.

The plots

• Headstone — $3. A normal grave. The cemetery is ordered newest first, so it starts at the top and sinks as other people bury theirs.
• Monument — $12. Adds one link beneath the epitaph, to whatever you are building now. It also heads the cemetery for its first 24 hours.
• Mausoleum — $30. The link, plus the largest stone, held in the Mausoleum Row above the cemetery.

The link

A grave is a dead thing. The link is the one live part of it, and it points at what you are doing now — not at the idea you just buried. That is the whole point: people read the failures and find out what those people went on to do.

It does not pass search-engine credit. Every link goes out through /api/go, so your URL never appears in the page as a link at all. If you are buying this for SEO you are wasting $12, and that is deliberate — it is what stops this turning into a wall of link spam within a week.

What you get instead is a public click count next to your link. Everyone can see it, including you, and it is the only honest way to know whether the grave sent you anybody.

Three things are enforced on the link itself. Query strings are stripped, so affiliate, referral and tracking URLs will not work. Link shorteners are rejected, because a shortener hides the destination and defeats every other rule here. And chat and invite links are rejected — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal and the rest. This is for things you built, not for group chats.

A logo beside your row comes with the Monument and Mausoleum plots. It is read from the site you link to. A $3 grave still gets its link, just not the logo.

How long the Mausoleum Row lasts

The row holds the three most recent mausoleums. Yours stays there until three more people build one, and then it moves down into the cemetery with everything else.

It is not permanent and is not sold as permanent. How long you keep it depends entirely on how many mausoleums are built after yours — that could be a day or it could be a year, and nobody can tell you which in advance. If that uncertainty is not acceptable, buy a headstone instead.

Plot numbers are handed out in order and never reused. Yours is whatever number the cemetery was on when you paid.

What you can bury

An idea, a project, a side hustle, a company, a plan. Yours, or one you were part of.

What is not allowed

• Real people. Do not use a headstone to name, accuse or mock somebody.
• Advertising in the epitaph itself. URLs typed into the name or the cause of death are stripped automatically — the link field on the $12 and $30 plots is the only place a link belongs.
• Links to anything you would not show a stranger: malware, scams, adult sites, or a page that exists only to sell somebody else's link. These get hidden without a refund.
• Slurs, harassment, threats, and sexual content.
• Anything that is somebody else's private information.

Every burial is read. Anything breaking these rules gets hidden from the cemetery without a refund, and the plot number stays spent.

Refunds

There are none, for the same reason there are no deletions. If something genuinely went wrong with a payment, get in touch and it will be sorted out.
